Juristat - Police Reported Crime Statistics, 2009

On July 20, 2010 the Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics released a Juristat report, “Police reported
crime statistics, 2009”.
This report presents information on the short and long-term trends in police-reported crime at the national, provincial/territorial and census metropolitan area (CMA) levels. It includes information on both the volume and the severity of overall, violent and non-violent crime as well as data on crimes committed by youths aged
12-17. The information includes First Nation police services, as well as any RCMP, Ontario Provincial Police or Quebec Police Force detachments that police Aboriginal communities for 2009. To see the full article,
