Maternal Mental Health Strategy: Building Capacity in Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan does not currently have a provincial policy regarding maternal mental health, which means many women, their children, and their  families suffer without consistent support  MotherFirst Working Group has written a Maternal Mental Health Strategy for Saskatchewan that has been endorsed by the Honourable Don McMorris, Minister of Health.  

This strategy has four policy recommendations which include:  Education, Screening, Treatment and Sustainability & Accountability.
