Thursday Nov. 25th marks the UN Day for the Eradication of Violence Against women, and the global launch of the 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women. In Canada, it is the annual “campaign” period of the White Ribbon Campaign which culminates on December 6th, the anniversary of the Montreal Massacre, and our National Day of Remembrance and Action on Ending Violence Against Women.

White Ribbon Campaign has started a series of micro-actions through the website ifwerantheworld.com

Micro-actions are very simple, quick ways of turning your good intentions into action. Most take less than a minute, some are bit more involved. The best part is that you get to choose how to act and how often and even start your very own micro-actions to get your friends and communities involved.

Simple actions like getting your campaign started by ordering ribbons & educational materials from the white ribbon campaign online store or reading an article about how to run your own campaign are all it takes to get involved and spread the word.
